Additionally to individual visits, which can be acquired by anyone who wants to visit the Nerja Cave, we offer other special visits for school groups and for larger groups. To view information about them, you can visit this link.

Technological Service to Complement the Visit:

1. Virtual Reality Room. A space to experience a 360º simulation that allows an immersive experience and viewing of elements of Nerja Cave not shown during the visit for conservation reasons, such as rock art. It’s also a perfect type of visit for those visitors who cannot access the cave due to health reasons.

Special Services for Families and Children:

1. Children’s Playground. A space for the little ones to have fun, equipped with multi-play structures, climbing elements, swings, slides…
2. Nursing Room. A comfortable and private place for families with babies and young children.

Routes in Nature, Previously Described:

1. Detunda-Nerja Cave Botanical Garden.
2. Trail named “Nerja Cave-Almijara”.
3. Interior gardens of the Nerja Cave complex.
4. Pedestrian path to the village of Maro.

Rest Areas:

1. Bench areas in the gardens of the complex. Throughout the complex, there are several spaces to rest and enjoy the natural beauty of this environment.
2. Bench areas inside the cave. Likewise, during the visit to the grotto, there are 2 rest areas with benches, to relax and calmly admire the wonders of Nerja Cave.

Areas for Eating and Recharging:

1. Restaurant-Cafeteria. A place to have breakfast, lunch, snack… overlooking the sea, the Botanical Garden, and the white town of Maro, as it boasts magnificent views and a wide gastronomic offer.
2. Picnic Area. Additionally, next to the Children’s Playground, there is an area with tables and wooden benches, to rest in the shade of the pines.

Area for Storing Objects:

1. Locker Space. Several numbered lockers are available to store items not needed on the tour. To use them, 1 euro is required, which will be refunded after use. Baby strollers, which cannot be taken inside the grotto, can be left here.

Services in Nerja Cave for Photos, Gifts, and Information:

1. Information Office. A space where the staff of the Nerja Cave Foundation answers any questions.
2. Gift and Souvenir Shop. Here, you can find various items and merchandise from Nerja Cave to give as gifts: bracelets, stones, books, t-shirts…
3. Photography Service. Upon entering Nerja Cave, if desired by the visitor, a photograph is taken in front of a green chroma which, at the exit of the visit, is transformed into a background of the cavity. This image can be purchased voluntarily.

Personal Care Areas:

1. Accessible Bathrooms. A renovated and easily usable space.
2. Nursing Room. A place to offer comfort to visitors with babies and young children.

Spaces for Vehicles and Transport Means to Reach the Cave:

1. Parking Lots. We offer a large parking area, where, for 2 euros, a spot is available for the entire opening hours of Nerja Cave.
2. Bicycle Parking. There is also a parking area for bicycles.
3. Bus Stop. It is possible to reach Nerja Cave by bus, the complex has a stop area, prepared to wait for it and equipped with a bathroom area.
4. Road Tourist Train. From the town of Nerja, one can reach the cave with a fun tourist train that travels by road in both directions.

In the Center of Nerja:

Nerja Museum. Included in the price of the visit to the cave is this space, where you can learn about the history of the town of Nerja and get much more information about Nerja Cave, as well as view findings from the cave and replicas of its rock paintings thanks to new technologies.
